OUR HOT PICK
DISTILLERY: HICKSON HOUSE
Hickson House Distillery is found in a truly unique location – in the heart of The Rocks in Sydney, almost under the iconic Harbour Bridge. The distillery itself it built in a historic bond building that used to house goods sent to Australia from all over the world. One of Australia’s largest and oldest gantry cranes was located in the building and the steel girders holding up the building are the same used in the building of the Harbour Bridge.
Hickson House Bar is home to over 600 bottles from all around the globe, with a strong focus on Australian-made spirits, so pull up a pew and settle in for a cocktail journey paired with local fare. Or if you consider yourself a true connoisseur, why not take a behind the scenes tour of how it’s all done, tastings included of course.
